Fallbrook Avocado Company is located in the DeLuz
Valley of San Diego County. It is 6 miles northwest of Fallbrook, "the avocado capital
of the world".
We are wholesale avocado growers committed to
producing the finest avocados, picked farm fresh from our trees, and shipping
them to you in time to enjoy this tantalizing, delicious fruit. We can box
them as an avocado gift box or in a wooden gift crate.
Avocados are a nutritious, cholesterol free, sodium free
fruit packed with more potassium per ounce than bananas.
If you are looking for a corporate gift or a personal
gift, our farm fresh cut avocados are a healthy choice. Our avocado gift boxes can be shipped
anywhere in the country. In addition, for you guacamole lovers, we also ship by
the half case or full case. That is 12 pounds or 25 pounds, perfect for a Cinco
de Mayo or a Superbowl size batch of guacamole. Also, avocados are
delicious to add to your favorite salsa as well.
We have four varieties of avocados throughout the year.
Our main crop is Hass which accounts for 85% of the California avocado crop. It
has rough, thick skin and has a smooth, creamy flesh. The other three varieties
grown are Reed, Fuerte, and Zutano.
Reed, Fuerte and Zutano are green skinned avocados that stay green even when
ripe. They are usually bigger in size than the Hass, but have less oil content
than the Hass. Reed avocados have a thicker, slightly bumpy skin , while Fuerte
and Zutano have a thin, smooth skin. the Hass variety is available most of the
year. The other varieties are seasonal.
